Ryan came to health content from implementation research, where the recurring problem is not knowing what the evidence says but getting it to survive contact with a ward. That framing carries straight into nursing coursework: most weak assignments name a real barrier and then propose an intervention that does not address it.
At Brinevia he owns the planning guides — how a PICO(T) question is scoped, what a care-transition brief is really assessing, and where a discussion post earns its citation. He works closely with the clinical reviewer, and treats that hand-off as a hard line: he plans the structure, she confirms the clinical content is safe and current.
He does not hold a clinical licence and does not write as though he does.
