Two constraints decide your NUR602 topic before you write
Two constraints in the requirements decide your topic, and both are easy to read past. The problem must be an issue in your geographic area, and it must concern the population you will serve upon graduation. Together they rule out choosing a group because the literature is rich. Incarcerated women is a strong choice if you will work near a facility; women veterans is strong near a VA catchment; transgender women is strong if your future practice is urban primary care. Say in the introduction which of those conditions you are meeting and how you know, because that sentence is what makes the rest of the paper local rather than generic. It also determines whether your statistics section can be written at all, since state and county figures are what the requirement asks for. Without a defensible local claim the statistics section has nothing to anchor to, and the plan of action becomes hypothetical, which is where these papers quietly lose marks.
Look at the point allocation before you plan your word budget. The plan of action carries 30 points, more than any single analytical section, and it is the part most students write last and shortest. It asks for three evidence-based actions you will personally take in your own practice, each supported by literature, plus how outcomes will be measured. That is not a recommendations paragraph about what the health system should do; it is a commitment about what you will do, and it needs measurable outcomes attached, so write actions at the scale of one clinician. Ethics carries 25 points and is the section most often collapsed into the social justice discussion. Keep them apart. Social justice is about the structural distribution of health; ethics is about the principles that bind you at the bedside, so name autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence and justice and apply each to this group specifically.

Discuss ethical issues on marginalized group 6. Provide a brief plan of how you will address this marginalized group in your practice once you are finished with school. Provide three actions you will take along with how you will measure outcomes of your actions. 7. - Writing recommendations for the health system where personal actions are asked for.
- Leaving outcome measurement as 'evaluate effectiveness' with no indicator named.
